2025 Annual POLIS Conference

The next edition of the Annual POLIS Conference, Europe's leading event dedicated to sustainable urban mobility, will take place on 26–27 November 2025 in Utrecht (Netherlands).

The Annual POLIS Conference is an unmissable opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a wide audience of mobility experts, practitioners, and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors. Building on the success of the 2024 edition, which welcomed over 1,000 participants, the POLIS team is now gearing up for another inspiring gathering—this time hosted by POLIS member, the City of Utrecht.

Early bird registration is now open and runs until 19 September 2025. POLIS members can register up to three representatives free of charge, and discounted rates are available for students. Accredited media are also welcome to attend free of charge. A limited number of places are available for the Conference Dinner on 26 November, so early booking is advised. Please note that all registrations will close on 11 November 2025.

The draft programme for #POLIS25 has also been released, featuring more than 30 breakout sessions that span a wide range of topics—from decarbonisation and data governance to public transport, freight, road safety, and social equity. The conference will open with a high-level plenary titled ‘Happy if Healthy: Mobility as a Mood’, and close with ‘Enriching the Mobility Menu: Tackling Transport Poverty’. These sessions will set the stage for bold, thought-provoking discussions on the future of urban transport, with the aim of informing, inspiring, and connecting stakeholders from across Europe and beyond.
