Towards the Green Future: The European Green Deal (EDG)

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) will host the “Towards the Green Future: The European Green Deal (EDG)” Brokerage Event in Brussels on November 16, 2023 between 09:00 and 18:30 (at CET).

EGD 2023 stands firmly dedicated to uniting Europe’s and Türkiye’s research and innovation communities, providing an ideal platform for collaboration on making Europe the first climate-neutral continent. This Brokerage event offers research and industry leaders a stage to explore project ideas and gain insights into upcoming Horizon Europe calls, aligning seamlessly with the priorities of the European Union's and Türkiye’s Green Deal joint objectives.

This one-day event provides a unique opportunity to connect with Turkish and European researchers for in-depth discussions and firsthand information about Horizon Europe calls. It's also an excellent opportunity to expand networks and forge new partnerships.

EGD 2023 showcases exceptional opportunities for those who aspire to academic excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to non-profit endeavours. This aligns perfectly with the themes of Horizon Europe Calls and the shared aspirations of the European Union and Turkey. The event caters to academics, businesses, and non-profit organisations eager to participate in Horizon Europe research and innovation projects. Participants can exhibit their scientific and technological capabilities, share their interests, and present innovative ideas while building partnerships with their European counterparts.

Researchers, academics, industry professionals, or policy experts based in states that are part of Horizon Europe (including Türkiye) could benefit from reimbursement for accommodation in Brussels and have the opportunity for partial financial contributions towards travel expenses.
