ERTRAC adopted two new papers on Urban Mobility: Light Electric Vehicles and 15-Minute City

The Urban Mobility working group of ERTRAC has developed two new papers during 2023.

The first one looks at new challenges and opportunities created by Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs). The paper provides definitions and discusses issues of LEVs integration in urban mobility, in terms of infrastructure, safety, environmental impacts, etc. A number of priorities for future research are described and recommended, with the objective to ensure a better integration of LEVs within cities.

The second paper addresses the 15-Minute City concept, discussing its challenges and drivers, so providing an overview of the concept and recommendations for future research.
