ERTRAC at #TRA 2024 Dublin

#TRA2024 Dublin has ended after four days of insightful discussions and exchanges on transport research. ERTRAC is very proud to have contributed to the organisation of the conference. Throughout the week, ERTRAC supported many sessions that addressed key challenges such as sustainability, inclusiveness, road safety and circular economy.

We would like to thank all our members for their contributions to sessions and for all the discussions about transport and its great innovation potential for Europe.
As part of our commitment to supporting young researchers, ERTRAC sponsored the TRA VISIONS award: The winners addressed key research topics including innovative braking system to avoid brake emissions (🥇1st place, Politecnico di Torino), fleet management of electric buses for public transport (🥈2nd place, Universita Roma TRE) and user perception of vehicle automation (🥉3rd place, Delft University).

We were pleased about the many visitors who stopped by our stand shared together with the European Partnerships 2Zero and CCAM: it was a great opportunity to promote and disseminate European collaborative research in our field, and hundreds of our roadmaps and portfolio of projects were distributed.

This TRA 2024 edition in Dublin was definitely a success! Congratulations to the Irish organisers, especially the Irish Department of Transport, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and the University College Dublin for this achievement.

Book your agenda for TRA 2026: see you in Budapest!
