RTR Conference presentations and sessions recordings are available!

The 6th edition of the Conference on Results from Road Transport Research (#RTRConference2023) was held in Brussels from 14-16 February 2023 to discuss the latest results and developments achieved by 61 Horizon 2020 invited projects in the field of road transport. 

An additional plenary session welcomed 3 European organisations - AVL, Volvo Group, and TNO - to present their experience with EU-funded projects. The main takeout was that participation in collaborative projects helps to discover hidden gems, build partnerships, and identify business partners. 

The annual RTR Conference provides a platform for disseminating research findings and offers the opportunity to maximise exploitation of projects results. It highlighted areas for improvement, such as societal and regulatory dimensions to be taken into account from the start of a project, build on previous success stories and continue with incremental innovation, be more agile and fast, and focus on future skills and education. Synergies among partnerships and with other EU programmes can be helpful to fill the gaps. 

The conference was a great success due to the many stakeholders sharing their results and the participants (+350) communicating with dynamism.
