TRA2022: Sessions of interest for ERTRAC members!

TRA2022 will start in a few days, with a very dense programme! To help you prepare for your week, we have navigated into the programme and listed below the sessions related to ERTRAC and its partners, including the 2Zero and CCAM Partnerships.

 

Monday 14th

09:30-13:00 Opening Ceremony

Automotive representative in industrial roundtable: Sigrid de Vries, Director General ACEA

11:30-12:00 TRA Visions awards for young and senior researchers, sponsored by ERTRAC

12:00-13:00 Official opening of the exhibition and exhibition tour by VIPs

13:30-14:45 Plenary 1 - Smart Solutions and Society

Speakers include Evangelos Bekiaris (Director HIT), François Régis Le Tourneau (ALICE Chair)

15:15-16:30 Strategic Sessions:

1.1 – Mobility for all: fair, inclusive, affordable and accessible in all places

Moderated by Ingrid Skogsmo (VTI, CCAM EG) and Wiebke Pankauke (EC, DG RTD)

1.2 – CCAM Mobility in Europe – Paving the way to deployment

Speakers include Rosalinde van de Vlies (Director DG RTD), Serge van Dam (CCAM Vice-Chair), Henriette Cornet (UITP, CCAM EG). Moderated by Torsten Geissler (BASt, CCAM EG)

1.3 – Artificial Intelligence for smart and sustainable mobility

Moderated by Margriet van Schijndel (TU/e). Speakers include Joost Vantomme (CEO of ERTICO).

 

Tuesday 15th

08:30-10:00 – Invited Session “Automated Mobility over the world: the need for International Collaboration”. Speakers include Henriette Cornet (UITP, CCAM EG).

10:30-11:45 Plenary 2 – Green Mobility and Decarbonization

Speakers include Peter Lehnert (Vice-President BMW Group) and Patrick Child (EC DG ENVI).

13:15-14:30 Strategic Sessions:

2.1 –  Boosting the uptake of zero-emission vehicles, vessels and aircraft, renewable & low-carbon fuels and related infrastructure

Speakers include Georg List (Vice-President AVL) and Philippe Froissard (EC DG RTD)

2.2 – Time to act: reaching climate-neutral cities by 2030

Speakers include Armin Graeter (BMW Group and CCAM Chairman), Rosalinde van der Vlies (EC DG RTD and and Deputy Missions Manager). Rapporteur: Karen Vancluysen (POLIS).

2.3 - Innovative concepts and services for zero emission mobility of people and logistics

Speakers include Herald Ruijters (DG MOVE).

Rapporteur: Fernando Liesa (ALICE).

15:00-16:30 – Invited Session on Electric Road System (ERS).

15:00-16:30Invited session from the E-VOLVE cluster “European Innovation for the Next Generation of Electric Vehicles by E-VOLVE Cluster”.

E-VOLVE is organizing the Invited Session where we will be discussing how the Cluster is evolving and adapting from the H2020 programme to the Horizon Europe. Join the session in room 3A!

17:00-18:30 – Invited session “What does the European battery community offer to enable the full electrification of transport?”

Session organized by the Batteries partnership BEPA.

Speakers include Franz Geyer (BMW Group).

Evening: TRA Gala dinner.

 

Wednesday 16th

08:30-10:00 Invited Session on Road Safety, supported by ERTRAC (Peter Urban, Ingrid Skogsmo, Magnus Granström).

13:15-14:30 Strategic Sessions:

3.3 – New approaches for human behaviour, HMI and safety analysis – across all modes

Moderated by Margriet van Schijndel (Tue). Speakers include Claire Depré (EC DG Move), Anna Rossi (FORVIA, Chair CLEPA R&I). The rapporteur role will be fulfilled by Peter Urban (RWTH ika).

15:00-16:30 – Invited Session on International dimensions of European competitiveness and technology leadership, supported by FUTURE-HORIZON (including Stephan Neugebauer, Zissis Samaras, Gereon Meyer, Ian Faye).

17:00-18:30 – Invited Session on international cooperation for transforming Urban Mobility, supported by SOLUTIONSplus and FUTURE-HORIZON (including Patrick Mercier-Handisyde, Oliver Lah, Verena Wagenhofer).

Thursday 17th 

08:30-10:00 – Invited Session by the European Commission, with the support from EGVIAfor2Zero and CCAM Association, on Synergies of EU programmes to support the market uptake of innovative road transport solutions.

10:30-11:45 Plenary 4 – Policies and Economics for a Competitive Europe

Speakers include Jean-Luc di Paola-Galloni (ERTRAC/EGVIA Vice-Chair), Maria da Graça Carvalho (Member of European Parliament, ITRE Committee, Rapporteur on Partnerships) and Rosalinde van der Vlies (EC DG RTD and and Deputy Missions Manager).

12:45-14:00 Strategic Sessions:

4.1 – LCA approaches and circular economy to enhance sustainability of mobility solutions, including tendering process

Speakers include Thilo Bein (Fraunhofer) and Philippe Froissard (EC DG RTD).

4.3 – Supporting a global sustainable competitiveness and industrial policy through EU public-private partnerships

Speakers include Françoise Guaspare (ERTRAC Vice-Chairwoman) and Julien Guerrier (EC DG RTD). The session will be moderated by Sergio Barbarino (ALICE Vice-Chair).
