
STREnGth_M shone bright at key transport events!
In 2025, STREnGth_M has been at the forefront of major events, advancing its mission to drive the future of road transport research and innovation across Europe—and beyond. Here is a closer look at some of the highlights!
Throughout 2025, STREnGth_M has been present at some of the most crucial events in the road transport research landscape, championing its mission to shape the future of road transport research and innovation not only across Europe but on a global stage. Take a closer look at some of this year’s standout moments!
At the FEHRL FIRM Regional Conference on 6 January in Washington, D.C., STREnGth_M was presented during a session focused on strengthening road transport research. The project’s role in aligning strategic research agendas, identifying funding opportunities, and overcoming implementation barriers was highlighted, demonstrating its commitment to international cooperation and transatlantic knowledge exchange.
In Brussels, STREnGth_M was featured at RTR Conference 2025, where it engaged with researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders at a dedicated booth. The team spotlighted Deliverable D1.1, which explores barriers to research deployment and offers actionable recommendations. The event also served to grow the project’s Multiplier Group and promote meaningful dialogue on national and EU R&I strategies.
At the ITS European Congress 2025 in Seville, under the theme “Clean, Resilient and Connected Mobility,” STREnGth_M supported a joint ERTRAC-FEHRL stand. The project helped showcase innovations in connected and automated mobility (CCAM), promoted the ERTRAC Roadmap on Automated Driving, and built momentum for the upcoming TRA 2026 Conference in Budapest.
From 15 to 18 June, the project joined the EVS38 Symposium in Gothenburg, the leading global event for electric vehicle technologies. STREnGth_M used this platform to highlight its work in aligning national and European R&I strategies, mapping innovation ecosystems, and fostering collaboration within the electric mobility sector.
Last but not least, on 1 July, STREnGth_M supported the ERTRAC Annual Conference 2025 in Brussels. Titled "Which Research Agenda for Road Transport in FP10?", this year's edition represented a milestone towards the new EU Research Framework Programme FP10. Stakeholders expressed and discussed their priorities for road transport research in the timeframe 2028-2035.
