Call for Host Country to host the TRA Conference 2030

The Transport Research Arena, in short TRA, is THE European research and technology biennial conference on transport and mobility.

The call for candidate is open, to host the 13th Transport Research Arena (TRA) Conference in the year 2030. Please download the Call to see all the conditions, selection criteria and timeplan.

This Call is launched on 30 April 2025 and will close on 31 January 2026.

The following European organisations issue this call and will do the assessment and selection of the winning candidate: ACARE, ALICE, CEDR, ECTP, ERRAC, ERTRAC, ETRA and WATERBORNE. The organisations will identify the best application based on the requirements listed as “selection criteria”. Candidates are therefore invited to provide information on each of these criteria.

The decision on the selected host will take place in the first half of 2026.
