ERTRAC supporting joint call for a bold FP10 to strengthening Europe’s innovation-driven productivity and competitiveness

In addition to the recent publication of its position paper, “Road Transport Research and Innovation in Horizon Europe and European Competitiveness Fund 2028-2034,”  ERTRAC, alongside 85 other European organisations, is backing a strong joint call to the European institutions to ensure bold funding and support for the upcoming FP10 programme. This support is essential to strengthening Europe’s innovation-driven productivity and competitiveness. It will safeguard its strategic independence, uphold its social objectives, and advance the green digital transition.

 

The European institutions must rise to the challenge. Failure to do so risks Europe falling behind and losing the progress achieved over the last 20 years from previous framework programmes.

 

• Allocating a substantially increased budget to FP10 
• Reinforce collaborative, industry-driven RD&I 
• Ensure FP10, together with ECF, supports the full RD&I continuum
