Co-funded by the European Commission, STREnGth_M is dedicated to advancing sustainable road transport across Europe and globally. By bringing together stakeholders such as policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders, the project fosters collaboration, harmonises research efforts, and strengthens connections at all levels of governance. This coordinated approach is vital as Europe strives to meet its ambitious sustainability goals.
A key objective of STREnGth_M is to support the Road Transport Vision 2050, which aims to transform the sector over the coming decades. Given the project’s broad scope and long-term goals, effective timing of roadmap updates is crucial to maintaining relevance and impact. The report reviews past ERTRAC activities and outlines upcoming research and innovation priorities, particularly those involving ERTRAC Working Groups, which are central to driving progress in road transport.
Additionally, the report includes a schedule of forthcoming meetings and events, highlighting related initiatives such as the ERTRAC CO2 Evaluation Group.
