CENTREe activities are moving forward

The CENTREe project consortium held its first regular online consortium meeting, bringing together all partners to review progress and coordinate the next phase of activities following the summer break.

Building on the project's kick-off in Graz, work is now advancing across four core research areas:

  • Defining the State of the Art in key Road Transport Research (RTR) topics, including urban zero-emission mobility, improved air quality, future road safety, and zero-emission long-haul logistics.
  • Assessing mature Horizon Europe projects to identify deployment barriers and develop innovation scaling strategies for RTR.
  • Mapping RTR stakeholders and innovation networks to identify representation gaps and strengthen research collaboration across Europe.
  • Conducting desk research and expert interviews to identify best practices in education and training for road transport R&I.

Over the coming months, CENTREe will share its first research insights, stakeholder analyses, survey findings, and outcomes from expert workshops, supporting the future of European road transport research.
