About STREnGth_M

STREnGth_M is an innovative road transport project supporting the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Paris Agreement. Running from February 2023 to February 2026, it brings together a dynamic consortium of 23 partners from 10 Member States and beyond. The project is led by AVL, one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies in development, simulation, and testing for the automotive industry and other sectors, and serves as ERTRAC’s Coordinated Support Action (CSA).

The project aims to specify future research needs in road transport, update and coordinate strategic research agendas and roadmaps, and facilitate continuous exchange between Horizon Europe partnerships and platforms related to road transport research. It also seeks to identify barriers to the deployment of research results at European and international levels, monitor global progress in electric mobility, and assess the feasibility of innovative solutions for emerging markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Additionally, STREnGth_M works to strengthen existing links and establish new connections between European, national, and regional programmes, as well as supporting structures for international cooperation task forces.
